A 49-year-old from Madawaska Valley Township is facing several charges, including possession of child pornography, after an OPP investigation that began in February.
Early in 2024, police opened an investigation into a voyeurism case in Renfrew County, and that led to the execution of a search warrant at a Madawaska Valley residence, the OPP said in a news release Monday.

The Killaloe OPP detachment has also charged the accused with: makes, prints, publishes or possession for the purpose of publication of any child pornography; three counts of voyeurism; and failure to comply with a release order.
The person was released on conditions and is to appear in a Pembroke courtroom on July 10, police said. Anyone with information relevant to the case was asked to contact Killaloe OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
