Get Claudia Winkleman’s signature black Hunter wellies from The Traitors for under £100

The Traitors is back on our screens for another week of deception and lies, but amongst the shocking twists and turns of the series so far, there has remained one constant – Claudia Winkleman’s wellies.

Each week we – and everyone else watching – have been obsessing over the host’s chic country-ready outfits, and amongst the array of oversized knits, tailored coats and skinny jeans, her black Hunter wellies reign supreme as the understated hero of her cosy outdoor ensembles.

Despite the fact the signature red and white logo on the front of the wellies is blocked out to avoid obvious branding on the BBC series, her stylist Sinead McKeefry has been diligently sharing Claudia’s outfit details on Instagram during each episode, and revealed the rubber boots are in fact from iconic outdoor brand Hunter.

The exact boots she wears are the Hunter Original Tall Wellington Boots, £135 here, which may seem a lot to shell out on a pair of shoes designed to get down and dirty, however the brand is known for its comfort and long-lasting quality, making them a worthwhile investment.

However, we’re always on the lookout for a bargain or two, which is why we were thrilled when we spotted the exact same pair of boots over on Amazon for just £99.99 here. You can choose from plenty of different colours, including royal blue, navy, and red, but it’s Claudia’s go-to all-black pair that we’ve got our eye on, especially with the weather set to get colder and wetter over the next few weeks.

Although Claudia and Sinead’s Traitors Core looks prove the wellies can be worn as part of a chic, sophisticated outfit, they’re also the perfect practical purchase that’ll see you through muddy dog walks, running errands in the rain, and of course festival season, which is where the brand first became known as much for its fashion as its function

If you’d like to save a little more money without compromising on the classic country branding, you can get Barbour’s Abbey Full Length Wellington in Black for just £65 here, which have a very similar look to the Hunter ones complete with matte black rubber finish and a rectangular logo at the top.

For an even more budget-friendly option, these all-black Cotswold Sandringham Wellingtons have been reduced in the sale from £49.99 to just £39.99 here, whilst still having plenty of the same design details as Claudia’s Hunters, such as a rectangular logo and buckle details around the top. Plus, if black’s not your colour you can choose from eight others, including bolder shades like canary yellow, orange and purple. We can’t wait to see what else Claudia wears with them!
