Glow Hub just dropped a £16 alternative to Sofia Richie’s favourite Glossier Futuredew serum

By now we’re all aware of the power of a Sofia Richie-endorsed beauty product, and last year the model revealed the latest must-have addition to her makeup routine: Glossier’s Futuredew. The glow-boosting serum is perfect for adding a subtle glow both underneath and on top of your makeup, and it quickly went viral, naturally.

However, bargain-hunting beauty fans are in luck, because TikTok-loved brand Glow Hub has just dropped its very own version, and it’s even more affordable than Sofia’s go-to Glossier one. The Glow Hub Hy_Glaze Face Frosting Serum Drops, £16 here, officially launched Wednesday 27 March, and are a great way to get Sofia’s glow without breaking the bank.

The Hy_Glaze Frosting Serum Drops combine makeup and skincare into one radiance-boosting product. They’re packed with skin nourishing ingredients like hyaluronic acid and squalene to improve hydration levels, whilst niacinamide and vitamin E help blur and smooth skin for a flawless finish.

The drops are ideal for giving a your-skin-but-better appearance, and rival Sofia’s beloved Glossier Futuredew, £28 here, when it comes to glow. However, there’s one major difference between the two – the formula base.

Glossier’s version is oil-based, with ingredients like jojoba, grape seed, evening primrose, and rosehip oil inside, whilst Glow Hub’s is a water-based serum that’s perfect for skin that already struggles with excess oil production. If you prefer more of a gel-like texture, Saie’s Glowy Super Gel, £17 here (was £22), is another great option to boost your skin’s radiance.

The serum can be used in a multitude of ways, too, making a big hitter in your beauty bag. Use it as a primer before makeup, mix it with your foundation for a lit-from-within glow, or dab it along high points like cheekbones and brow bones as a highlighter.

Glow Hub’s Hy_Glaze is currently exclusively available in the shade ‘glazed’, which is a clear formula that helps create a naturally dewy glow. However, fans will also be able to snap up three additional shades in April when the brand launches its golden hour (gold shade), sunrise (bronze shade), and love flush (pink shade) options.

In the meantime, if you want something that’ll give you a hint of colour without being too pigmented, ICONIC London’s Underglow Primer, £25 here, comes in one universally flattering shade that has a pearlescent champagne hue to it. That means not only is it great for an under-foundation glow, but it also works by itself for a dewy no makeup look.

With spring on its way now it the perfect time to switch up your beauty routine, and dewy, glowy skin is definitely top of our agenda this season!
