Incredibly, it’s 30 years since we were gifted with Harry’s arrival. But who could have realised – when he took his very first breath on 1 February 1994 – what an indelible mark the talented soul would leave on the world?
The year of his birth proved to be quite the notable year for the arrival of musical talent, with several other A-list stars also being born, including Ava Max, Justin Bieber, BTS members Jung Ho-seok and Kim Nam-joon, Sam Fender and Halsey.

In January, Queen Elizabeth sparked concern by breaking her wrist after falling from a horse.
The February Winter Olympics took place in Lillehammer, Norway, where the UK took home 32 medals, including Bronze for now-iconic figure skaters Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean.
At the same Olympics, US figure skaters Tonya Harding and Nancy Kerrigan saw their rivalry reach boiling point, when Nancy was brutally attacked by a hitman, at the behest of Tonya’s ex-husband.
Steven Spielberg’s biopic of Oskar Schindler, Schindler’s List, dominated awards season with wins for Best Picture and Director at the Oscars, Golden Globes and BAFTAs.

The highest grossing film of the year went to Disney’s The Lion King, which saw worldwide takings of £598,510,987 over the course of 12 months.
The average cost of a home in 1994 was around £51,327, with the price of most household essentials such as bread and milk also coming in much cheaper at 50p and 36p respectively. A pint of beer would also only set you back around £1.50.
Holidays to France became that little bit easier, when the Channel Tunnel opened for the first time on 6 May – six years after construction first began.

Former US First Lady Jackie Kennedy Onassis sadly died on 19 May from non-Hodgkin lymphoma at the age of 64.
Romance was on the cards for music royalty, when Elvis Presley’s daughter, Lisa Marie, married king of pop Michael Jackson in the Dominican Republic on 26 May.
Brazil took home the FIFA World Cup trophy for the fourth time in July, after winning the football tournament in Los Angeles.
1994 first introduced the world to US sitcom Friends

In September, NBC sitcom Friends introduced the world to David Schwimmer, Matthew Perry, Courtney Cox, Jennifer Aniston, Matt LeBlanc and Lisa Kudrow for the very first time as Ross, Chandler, Monica, Rachel, Joey and Phoebe.
Pink Floyd concluded their final concert tour, with a sensational show at Earls Court, London, on 29 October.
The music world was dealt a crushing blow in April when Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain tragically died by suicide after struggling with depression and drug addiction.
On 31 October, Tennis ace Venus Williams made her winning debut on court with a 6-3, 6-4 over the former NCAA champion world No. 58 Shaun Stafford.
