Ottawa Fire Services HazMat specialists were dispatched to the Splash Wave Pool in the 2000 block of Ogilvie Road Sunday morning.
At about 8:16 a.m., a pool employee reported a chlorine gas leak from one of the maintenance rooms.

Firefighters arrived on scene four minutes after the call and confirmed that about 30 people had evacuated from the structure.
Specialists located the leaky 100-pound tank and removed it from the building.
Firefighters assessed one employee who was feeling nauseous and light-headed. There was no immediate word on the person’s condition.
The HazMat Team verified every room in the structure for readings of chlorine and they were all at zero.
The incident ended at about 9:27 a.m.
