How to get a free SPF phone case inspired by Hailey Bieber’s viral Rhode accessory today

You can grab a free SPF-holding phone case inspired by Hailey Bieber’s viral Rhode case today. We’ve never dashed so quickly to the comment section of an Instagram post than when Hailey Bieber shared a selfie with a new accessory featuring her Rhode branding: A phone case that snugly stores a Rhode Peptide Lip Treatment, £16 here, or Lip Tint, £16 here.

The item launched in March amidst massive hype, but at £35 here, it isn’t the most budget-friendly phone accessory for everyone.

Now, mobile network O2 has teamed up with the British Skin Foundation and Green People to launch a Rhode-inspired case that perfectly holds a travel-sized bottle of SPF, in an effort to raise skin cancer awareness and promote sun safety this summer.

The limited-edition case is made from recycled materials and provides users with an emergency supply of sunscreen to protect their skin this summer. It’s compatible with Green People’s top-selling SPF30 sunscreen in the 10ml size, which you can buy for £17 here.

With an unscented formula enriched with over 60 per cent organic aloe vera, this gentle SPF soothes sensitive skin while repelling water. The best bit? You can grab this sun-safe case for free today if you’re quick. Just pop into your local O2 shop where this limited-edition free mobile phone accessory is up for grabs at selected O2 stores nationwide from today, 15 May 2024, while stocks last.

This includes London, Cardiff, Birmingham, Manchester, Edinburgh and Belfast. Simply walk into the participating store and say “don’t get burnt” to a staff member at the till and, if there’s still stock, you’ll be handed the case (compatible with most smartphone models) complete with the 10ml SPF.

If you can’t make it to a store today, you can also enter O2’s competition to win a case here.

This sun safety campaign has the backing of the British Skin Foundation, which advises that anyone out in sunlight should reapply their sunscreen at least every 2 hours (or after swimming, sweating or towel-drying). However, while many of us might remember to apply SPF in the morning, not many of us will remember to carry a tube with us so we can reapply it throughout the day.

This smart case means you’ll never be caught out.
