Correctional Services Canada says an inmate has died in custody at Millhaven Institution, in Bath, Ont.
Taran Morrison, 41, was sentenced Jan. 19, 2021, to three years, five months and 27 days, for robbery, three counts of break and enter, mischief and carrying a concealed weapon, Correctional Service of Canada said in a release.

He was sentenced in London, Ont.
CSC confirmed in an email that Morrison’s term would have been completed on July 15 this year.
Morrison’s next of kin have been notified, CSC said.
Authorities did not release the cause of death.
“(CSC) will review the circumstances,” the release said.
CSC policy requires that police and the coroner also be notified .
