Claudia Winkleman has been a staple to our TV screens for several years and is arguably best-known for fronting Strictly Come Dancing alongside Tess Daly, and most recently, hit BBC series The Traitors.
Claudia, 51, is a firm favourite with TV viewers thanks to her dry sense of humour and iconic look. The star has impressed throughout the latest series of Strictly, having provided numerous memorable moments, not to mention her incredible sequin outfits.
Despite Claudia having been on our screens since the 90s, she’s managed to keep her private life largely out of the spotlight, including her marriage to Kris Thykier. Let’s take a look…

Claudia married film producer Kris, 51, at Marylebone Town Hall in 2000 in a secret ceremony. Prior to her relationship with Kris, not much is known about Claudia’s love life.
Kris boasts a successful career and is known for his work on movies such as Woman in Gold, Kick-Ass, The Debt and the Tolkien film. He was also the executive producer on the hit 2017 TV show Riviera.
He and wife Claudia share three children – Jake, 20, Matilda, 17, and Arthur, 12 – and reportedly reside in Connaught Village in West London. The family are said to be neighbours with former Prime Minister Tony Blair, reports The Daily Express.
Claudia previously spoke about living in London with her family, telling the Evening Standard: “I can leave my house at 4am and buy a kebab, rent a movie and get some shampoo. I love my shower, my bread bin and our tortoise, Yoshi.

She’s also given an insight into her 23-year marriage to Kris on a handful of occasions and even spoke about their bedroom antics in a previous interview, confessing she puts “too much pressure on herself” to get intimate.
“I think we put way too much pressure on ourselves – I haven’t had sex with my husband for two days, let’s do it on the stairs,” Claudia jokingly said to The Sun back in October 2020.
The TV presenter also said that she thought her eldest son Jake – who was 17 at the time of the interview and preparing for university – leaving home would improve her sex life with Kris.
“He’s 17 and keeps talking about it. He’s super excited. I’m sure it will be great. Me and my husband will learn how to make stew and we’ll read lots of books and we’ll do tickling – that’s code in case anyone is wondering,” Claudia quipped.

Claudia and Kris also evenly share their parenting responsibilties, with the Strictly host previously praising her husband for taking on the “chaotic” school run.
Speaking to HELLO! in 2018, she said: “My husband is very good at the school run, he’s quite into it – so we share it. So this morning, he took my daughter and I took my youngest son.”
