Ncuti Gatwa will take centre stage as Doctor Who on Christmas Day, joined by Millie Gibson, who will take on the role of the TIme Lord’s glam new assistant.
The 19 year old will make her debut as Ruby Sunday, the companion to Ncuti’s 15th Doctor, in the Christmas special, before joining him for a full series in the spring.
Ahead of her brand new TV role, let’s take a look at the young actress’ life off-screen…
She is currently loved up with boyfriend Tom Neatis, who she was spotted with in Salerno, Italy earlier this year.
Tom owns a music label and she had been leaving sweet comments on his social media posts, dating back to last November – suggesting they have been dating for just over a year now.

Last year, Millie took to Instagram as she headed to Salford Quays after a day of filming with castmates including Mikey North and Samia Longchambon to celebrate her time on the show.
Elsewhere, the Corrie star celebrated her 18th birthday with her fellow co-stars after throwing a lavish birthday bash which she documented on social media for her 146,000 followers to see.
