Celebrity Big Brother is officially underway with a whole host of new famous faces for fans to watch every evening but none are more fascinating than genuine friends Sharon Osbourne and Louis Walsh, who entered the house first and second during the launch show.
The pair, who have had fans in stitches already, have been close friends for over 10 years having worked together on and off over the decade on ITV hit talent show The X Factor.
They weren’t always best buddies though, with Louis revealing that Sharon “didn’t like me at all” after the Irish music mogul said some nasty things about her daughter Kelly Osbourne.
Speaking on This Morning to hosts at the time Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes, he admitted that he had previously “slagged” Kelly and said she “couldn’t sing” but that all it took was one simple thing to get back into Sharon’s good books – “time.”

He added: “We just got to know each other. We know where to go and where not to go. We also have dinner a lot.”
The cheeky duo are peas in a pod and have even had to go through “respect and inclusion” training ahead of their Big Brother appearances after years as a twosome known for not holding back with their thoughts and opinions.
During their time together on The X Factor, the cheeky chums had ITV bosses in panic as they got themselves into trouble for their behaviour and questionable comments. Since their last stint together in 2017 though, ITV has increased it’s duty of care measures.
Rules in place now include using “appropriate use of language and acceptable behaviour” but with the pair already heard judging fellow housemates’ clothing, the rule breaking might already be underway. The rules will also be difficult to follow for the pair who were instantly tasked with the first live mission of the series – choosing the first three housemates for the public vote – based on their initial thoughts.

Previously, Louis has had to apologise for making contestants cry – including guest judge Dannii Minogue in 2008. Sharon has also played her part in ‘bad behaviours’ over the years with Louis too – seen throwing water over him in 2005 after Louis asked if she had been taking her husband Ozzy (Osbourne’s) drugs.
Sharon also famously fell out with Dannii who had to ask for Sharon to be removed from her dressing room for “screaming and swearing” before filming.
The dynamic pair, both 71, were often spotted giggling and not paying attention during auditions and live shows – much to the annoyance of Simon Cowell – who shares a friendship with Louis, but no longer with Sharon.

Sharon, who has been open and honest about plastic surgery work that she has had done over the years, has the support of Louis at the end of the day. He said to The Mirror: “She has had a bit of work done. I have great fun with her and she does not mind me saying things like that.” He also once joked that she “looks even younger now” and questioned Alison Hammond on whether she likes Sharon’s new face.”
Sharon was seen laughing along at the time, and said: “Oh here we go!”
The best friend duo are joined on this year’s show by other famous faces including Fern Britton, Levi Roots and Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu.
