At this year’s Oscar bash, famed musician Sir Elton John had a special surprise planned for his celeb guests – an exclusive peek into the star’s closet.
Amongst the attendees at the star-studded bash were Smokey Robinson, Ellie Goulding, Jane Seymour, Jacob Lusk of Gabriels fame, Lucien Laviscount, fashion queen Donatella Versace, and TV stars Liz and Damian Hurley alongside Neil Patrick Harris.
OK! has everything you need to know about what was in store for the guests.
Upon arrival, celebrities got a glimpse into Sir Elton’s wardrobe including a Louis Vuitton “garden in hell” bag, two trendy Gucci bomber jackets, a collection of five fancy Versace shirts, two cosy Versace robes and comfy home slippers with ‘E’ and ‘J’ boldly marked on them.

The party setting included a fun pinball machine as a nod to the Pinball Wizard star himself and a remarkable ice sculpture that had guests gasping in awe. When it came to food, it was all about luxury. Guests got to feast on braised short rib, flavoursome sea bass and a sweet raspberry chocolate cloud for dessert.
As a musical treat, there was a special performance by Gabriels, and whispers abounded of a spontaneous appearance on stage by Sir Elton John himself, reports the Mirror.
This year’s Oscars kicked off with a bang, as High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens revealed her baby bump on the red carpet. The actress, who co-hosted the official Oscars red carpet with Julianne Hough, showed off her growing belly in a sleek black dress outside the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.

The exciting news comes after Vanessa tied the knot with US baseball player Cole Tucker in Mexico last year.
Meanwhile, the Oscars were being hosted by Jimmy Kimmel and he kicked off the show by appearing in a scene from the hit film Barbie. Margot Robbie’s Barbie character tells him: “You’re so beautiful.”
To which he responded: “I know I was just thinking that, I haven’t eaten in three weeks. I’m so hungry, I have to go host the Oscars.” When he got on stage, he said: “Thank you for that partial standing ovation. And for making it on time, the show is starting an hour earlier this year but don’t worry, it will still start very, very late. ”
Unfortunately his monologue didn’t got down too well as he was slammed for joking about Cillian Murphy’s name and an inappropriate comment about Robert Downey Jr.
