What about his marital status?
Charles tends to keep his romantic life under wraps, but he’s let slip that he’s blissfully married.

On television, Charles is also known for his role as Ray Dixon, Bianca Butcher’s former partner, on EastEnders. When he starred on Strictly, he broke down in tears over his shock exit from the show, in a chat with It Takes Two’s then-host Zoe Ball.
With tears streaming down his face, Charles told the TV host that he didn’t expect to have done as well as he did on the show.
Reflecting on his time on the show, he emotionally said: “It feels unreal. It doesn’t feel like that’s me – honestly.
“According to my kids I couldn’t dance, they’re eating humble pie now for sure.”
The actor added that he was proud of himself for getting so far, but also couldn’t pretend he wasn’t gutted to have missed out on a coveted spot in the quarter-finals.
