Joe Swash annoys house proud Stacey Solomon after he moans about overgrown garden view

Stacey Solomon has poked fun at husband Joe Swash after he made a remark about one particularly overgrown area in their stunning garden.

In a post uploaded to Instagram, Joe, who recently divided fans with a packed lunch snap, shared a photo from his and Stacey’s Pickle Cottage home which showed a portion of their outdoor space bursting with hedges, trees and plants.

Unable to see past the shrubs, the 42 year old captioned the photo: “I love sitting at this window”.

In response to the post, wife Stacey made a light-hearted remark about her husband’s gardening skills as she commented: “If you ventured out and trimmed the bushes every so often you’d be able to see out of it” alongside a series of laughing emojis.

However, TV personality Joe defended the garden’s growth and explained how he enjoyed their garden being “wild”.

“No Stacey, leave it alone. I love the fact that it’s a little bit wild a bit like me don’t you think. Lol xxx,” he replied.

After posting the snap, Joe divided fans as his followers flooded the comments with their own opinions on the view – while some loved the greenery others encouraged him to neaten up the space.

“Beautiful! I bet the air feels so fresh,” wrote one Instagram user. “Beautiful. You have such a lovely garden there,” another added.

However, others were less keen on the shrubbery, with one writing: “Except for the creepy crawlies “shudder””.

Meanwhile a fourth joked: “Joe, get a telescopic hedge trimmer, my neighbour has one, I found myself shouting over the fence on Saturday “Wow Alan, I have never been more jealous of your tool”… why don’t I think before I speak?!”.

If you’re on team hedge trimmer, the NMHT450 Corded Hedge Trimmer, £39 here, from B&Q has been praised by gardening fans for being a “great little machine” that does a “perfect job”.
