Josie Gibson: ‘Reggie still sleeps in bed with me – and will do until he’s 18!’

EXCLUSIVE: This Morning host Josie Gibson opens up on what makes her mother-son relationship with Reggie, five, so special and reveals how ex Terry helps with her busy schedule

With one of the busiest working schedules of anyone in the UK entertainment industry today, Josie Gibson credits her harmonous home life with allowing her to balance motherhood with television presenting.

The This Morning frontwoman and mum-of-one – who initially stepped in 18 months ago to cover a Covid-stricken Holly Willoughby and has remained an on-screen hit ever since – this week opened up to OK! about single-mum life with her five-year-old boy Reggie-James.

She and ex-partner Terry split just three months after Reggie was born. Explaining how they share their time with their son, she tells us, “Terry has him two to three nights a week and then I’ll have him on the others.

“I would never have been able to do what I’ve done if it wasn’t for Terry.”

Josie, 38, also admits she’s struggled recently with seeing Reggie venture off to school for the first time, confessing “I don’t like it at all – but I’ve got to live with it”.

And as she opens up about potential romances, the devoted mum says the only person she’s willing to share a bed with for the time-being is Reggie, joking, “I want him in there forever – he will be until he’s 18!”
