Union Minister Anurag Thakur branded Delhi Chief Minister and AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal as the ‘biggest liar among politicians”. He said those who had once decided not to work with Congress “are now walking with them”. Thakur went on to say that Kejriwal has joined hands with the Congress party as many of his party leaders are behind bars.
The AAP and Congress on Saturday finalised their seat-sharing formula for Delhi, Chandigarh, Haryana, Gujarat and Goa. While Delhi elects its government to the legislative assembly and has a Lt Governor, Chandigarh is a Union Territory ruled directly by the Centre. In another boost to the INDIA bloc, the AAP-Congress seat-sharing consensus came after the Congress and Akhilesh Yadav-led Samajwadi Party (SP) struck a seat-sharing agreement in Uttar Pradesh for the forthcoming Lok Sabha polls.
