X-Men fans rejoice: LEGO has just dropped one of its coolest build-ables yet, a life-like Wolverine claws set. The nearly 600-piece set is modeled after the iconic character’s razor sharp glove, immortalized in the X-Men ’97 television series.
Easily one of the most recognizable and symbolic items in all of comic book lore, the Wolverine adamantium claws feature the trio of steel alloy blades worn by one of the X-Men’s leading heroes. They touch on the character’s animal-like prowess and come to LEGO fans just in time for Wolverine’s appearance in the forthcoming Deadpool 3 film, due out next May.

Collectors can display the claw set prominently or put it to use, taking advantage of its posable build and moveable fingers. Designed for adult assemblers 18 and up, the set is an ideal project for the dog days of summer and a true treasure for X-Men fans everywhere. We may not be able to pull off the role quite like Hugh Jackman but with this intricate set, one can come pretty close.
In addition to the hyper-realistic look of the claw, the set includes a descriptive panel and comes with digital instruction via the LEGO app. Once completed, the adamantium claws set looks so real it seems plucked straight from the comic book and movie set.
The set is currently available for preorder and—being a collector’s item—there are purchase limits. Lock one down for yourself or gift one to the Marvel fanatic in your life. But whatever you do, move like Quicksilver (with superhuman speed) as they’ll surely sell fast. The set officially hits the store shelves August 1.
