Liberty Poole has been on a mission to update her beauty look since she left the Love Island villa back in 2021. You probably remember her on the ITV2 show as a blonde, but in recent months she’s decided to go for a brunette shade more similar to her root colour.
Now, she’s entering phase two of her beauty transformation with tattooed eyebrows.
The former Nandos waitress has jumped on her Instagram Stories to share the very impressive before and after snaps with her 1.3 million followers, also giving details on the exact technique she opted for and the clinic she visited.

“Brow transformation coming up,” she teases, adding on the next clip: “The ladies there are the best. Thank you so much for an unreal day @levylive”.
Lib then goes on to share her natural brows before having the tattoo treatment and an after shot following her visit to the semi-permanent make-up specialists. Though she doesn’t say the exact treatment she had, the after shots show her brows looking defined with subtle fading, leading us to believe she’s had an ombré technique.
What are ombré brows, you wonder?
“Pigment is applied to the dermal layer of the skin using an ombré technique which creates a gradient effect and a more defined ‘makeup effect’ brow,” explains SDH Makeup.
It’s suitable for darker skin tones and oily/thick skin; very durable and requires less frequent touch-ups in comparison to microblading. A top-up is required after 5-7 weeks, and the treatment lasts between 2 to 4 years.”
Essentially, the difference between this treatment and microblading is that while microblading is performed using a hand-held tool that doesn’t require any electricity to work, a digital machine uses electricity to power a needle, which punctures the very surface of the skin, inserting pigment as it goes. It also costs around £400 to have done.

Lib isn’t the first celeb to try this treatment out. England football forward Chloe Kelly went for a brow transformation of her own shortly before the Lioness’ big Euros win. And while we definitely were watching her skill on the pitch at the time, we also thought there must have been a reason why the 24-year-old’s brows still looked so fresh at the end of the game. There was, as the star has since mentioned she’s partial to an ombré brow treatment.
Fellow Love Island star Millie Court also recently headed for a tattoo brow treatment, with her results looking very similar to Lib’s.
“So my eyebrows needed a bit of TLC,” Millie wrote on her Instagram Story at the time. “I’ve always put it off because I worried nobody would know what on earth to do with them, but I put my trust in SDH_Makeup and please look at the result!!”
Do we also need an ombré treatment? We think we might!
