Man, 32, receives life-threatening injuries in two-vehicle crash in south Ottawa

A 32-year-old man was transported to a hospital trauma centre with life-threatening injuries following a two-vehicle head-on collision in south Ottawa on Saturday.

An Ottawa Paramedic Service spokesperson said the man had multi-system trauma after being ejected from one of the two vehicles involved in the crash in the 6100 block of Bank Street, between Parkway and Sale Barn roads in the Greely area, just before 6 p.m.

A 36-year-old woman from the second vehicle had hip and chest injuries. She was transported to the trauma centre in stable condition.

The Ottawa Police Service said Bank Street would be closed “for an extended period of time” between Parkway and Sale Barn.
