Marks & Spencer brings back best-selling pre-lit Christmas tree

It might seem early to some, but it looks like the Christmas countdown has well and truly begun as retailers begin launching their highly anticipated festive offerings for 2023.

Christmas food products have already started hitting the shelves in supermarkets and now decorations are beginning to be advertised, with Marks and Spencer announcing its best-selling Christmas tree is now officially available to order.

The retailer published its Christmas Tree Buying Guide to help shoppers and revealed its hugely popular Pre-Lit Snowy Christmas tree is back for the 2023 festive period. Described as M&S’ ‘most popular tree’, it promises to give your home a ‘wonderful wintery feel’ this December.

The Snowy is available in several different sizes with the smallest size, 1.5ft, priced at just £12.50. The 3ft version is available for £29.50, and if you’re looking for something slightly more extravagant, the 5ft Snowy could be the perfect fit.

There’s also 6ft, 7ft and 8ft versions of M&S’ Pre-Lit Snowy Christmas tree on offer, as well as ‘slim’ editions for those wanting their tree to take up less space in their home.

The best-selling tree has already proven to be a hit with eager shoppers, with one person giving it five stars and writing: “Beautiful package can’t wait for Christmas day, it’s great that it comes with light all ready on the tree.”

Other retailers have similar Christmas trees on offer, including John Lewis and George at Asda, which both offer different versions of the best-selling snowy tree.

The Isla Diamond Frost Pre-lit Christmas Tree by John Lewis, £299, is covered with faux snow and has multicoloured LED lights included. The tree is a firm favourite among shoppers and gets snapped up every year, with many branding it the ‘perfect’ tree and giving it five stars in the reviews.

If you’re after a slightly more budget-friendly alternative to M&S and John Lewis’ snowy Christmas trees, then George at Asda have you covered with their new Green 7ft Flocked Pre Lit Christmas Tree, £100.

The tree has 200 lights included and a gorgeous wicker stand, and it’s available in-store and online. Shoppers have praised the quality of Asda’s snow-covered tree, with one saying: “2nd one I have bought, lasts along time and looks expensive.”
