Tennis star Matteo Berrettini has crashed out of Wimbledon, but off the court he has an incredible life travelling the world with his stunning girlfriend Melissa Satta
Matteo Berrettini’s Wimbledon journey ended on Tuesday when he was knocked out of the tournament by Alcaraz Garfia.
However, in an interview for Sky Sport, the Italian admitted that he has finally found joy on the court. He said: “I have rediscovered the joy of doing what I chose as a child, this is the most beautiful thing.
“Unfortunately today didn’t go as I hoped, Carlos played better than me. I found a lot of awareness, which in part I had never lost.”
Tennis fans got a glimpse into what Matteo is like away from the courts in Netflix’s documentary series, Break Point.
Viewers were shown how the sportsman copes with the pressure of the game, as well as being shown more details about his dating life with then-girlfriend and fellow tennis star, Ajla Tomljanovic.
However, the sports star split from Ajla in spring 2022, and is now dating TV presenter and model Melissa Satta.
