When it comes to your bedtime routine, creating a calm, relaxing atmosphere is the perfect way to help you wind down after a busy day. Whilst some people favour candles or mood lighting, for Molly-Mae Hague, her relaxing routine is all about scents.
The former Love Island star shared that she uses NEOM’s Wellbeing Pod Luxe, £130 here (was £135), every single night, adding that it: “Makes the bedroom smell like a spa”. Alongside the diffuser, Molly-Mae showed a bottle of the Tisserand Lemongrass Organic Pure Essential Oil, £7 here, that helps create the calming, spa-like scent and has uplifting qualities.

Although Molly-Mae uses her NEOM diffuser at night, the pod actually delivers up to 12 hours of fragrance into your room. The pod works by emitting a mist of essential oils into your space on a regular basis, helping infuse it with a lovely scent and simultaneously changing the entire vibe of your room.
It’s also fully remote controlled so you can tailor it to your space and current mood. You can change the mist intensity, the light, and even select ‘breathing’ mode to help with meditation or calming moments.
The breathing mode has a light that slowly brightens for seven seconds and then dims for another 11 seconds, helping create a subtle guided moment of calm. To help with des-stressing or meditation moments, match your breathing to the light, inhaling as it brightens then inhaling as it dims.

Although you can get corresponding NEOM essential oils to add to your diffuser, in Molly-Mae’s Instagram story she showed a bottle of the Tisserand Lemongrass Organic Pure Essential Oil, £7 here, next to her diffuser. The essential oil appears to be the bergamot scent, which is well-known as one of the go-to fragrances for spas thanks to the oil’s wellbeing properties.
Bergamot is mostly used in aromatherapy for its cheering and uplifting qualities, helping boost your mood and create a more positive mindset. Not only does this help send you to bed in a great mood, but it also gives you that spa-like feeling that automatically instills you with a sense of calm.

If you’re on the lookout for an oil diffuser to add to your home but can’t quite afford to splurge on Molly-Mae’s luxurious oversized version, you can get a mini version with NEOM’s Wellbeing Pod Mini Essential Oil Diffuser, £44 here (was £55), which is great for smaller spaces like home offices, bathrooms, and even your car as it’s fully wireless. You can also get a slightly larger version with Dunelm’s White Ceramic Electric Diffuser, £26 here, which is great for larger spaces and helps fill your room with aromatherapy scents of your choice for a calm, relaxing environment. As if we need another reason to spend all evening in bed.
