Molly-Mae’s ‘go-to’ black bikini is so flattering she’ll be wearing it ‘all summer’
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

When it comes to swimwear, the classic strappy black bikini is a timeless staple that never fades from fashion. It’s the ultimate go-to piece that flatters every figure, exudes elegance, and pairs effortlessly with any accessory.

Molly-Mae Hague, the Love Island sensation, has taken to Instagram to share her latest find in the quest for the perfect black bikini. She showcased the SKIMS Rcycld Swim Tri Top, priced at £38 here, and its matching Rcycld Chky Tanga Btm, costing £36 here, declaring them “the best” in her collection.

Molly-Mae gushed over her new swimwear, posting: “I found the best black strappy bikini! I will have this on all summer, I wear a size L for reference.” Alongside her recommendation, she shared a chic look featuring the sleek bikini paired with flowing black trousers and a trendy denim Miu Miu cowboy hat, available for £450 here.

Crafted from 76% recycled nylon, the bikini promises a flattering fit for all silhouettes. SKIMS’ swimwear line mirrors their shapewear’s reputation for enhancing your natural shape, reports the Mirror. The bottoms boast an easy slip-on style, mid-rise waist, and high-cut tanga sides, while discreet tonal stitching adds a touch of understated luxury.

The bikini top features matching topstitching, classic triangle cups and a regular fit, with self-tie fastenings at the back and around the neck. This style of tie-back bikini also allows you to switch up how you wear it, with plenty of TikTok videos showing you different ways to fasten the straps to either improve support, avoid tan lines, or just give it a different look each time you wear it.

If you prefer a little more coverage with your bikini, particularly on the bottom, Pour Moi’s Sydney High-Waist High Leg Bikini Brief, £22 here, has a high waisted design that sits on your waist, with high-rise legs that elongates your legs for a flattering fit. It also has a hidden tummy control panel which helps smooth and sculpt your figure, making you feel more confident.

And good news the simple, chic black design means you can pair it with any style of bikini top, whether you want to snap up Molly-Mae’s strappy SKIMS one or want to mix and match with a bold print like leopard or zebra.

If you want something of a bikini-style look but don’t want to commit to a full two-piece, Boux Avenue’s Cyprus Super Push Up Swimsuit, £54 here, manages to balance the overall look of a bikini with the coverage of a swimsuit thanks to its cut out details. The strappy design on the waist and back helps bare some skin whilst still covering up, and it has adjustable straps and extra padding to give you plenty of lift and support, making it extra flattering.

Chic, timeless and flattering we all need a little black bikini in our suitcase this summer!
