A motorcyclist died Wednesday in a crash in Rideau Lakes Township, the Ontario Provincial Police reported online.
“The investigation will continue for several hours and the OPP urges motorists to avoid the area,” said the post on X, formerly known as Twitter.

A previous post said officers from the OPP’s Leeds detachment were at the scene of the crash on Jones Falls Road in Rideau Lakes Township, which is about 100 kilometres west of Ottawa.
