As the colder weather creeps in, New Look shoppers are raving about the shop’s incredible £17 dupe for the best-selling £100 Ugg Tasman slippers.
The Off White Embroidered Trim Slipper Boots are a fraction of the price, and make you feel like you’re “walking on clouds,” according to one of the many five star reviews left by happy customers.
Available in shades black and off white, the slip-on shoes feature a soft finish with an embroidered trim. They also include faux fur lining for extra warmth and a chunky sole.
On the New Look website, the full product description reads: “Lined with the softest faux fur fabric, these off-white slippers are a must-have on chilly days.”

Shoppers have hailed the New Look slippers as a ‘great alternative’ to Uggs, and have rated them a four out of five on the website.
One five star review read: “I bought these as a dupe for the Ugg Tasmans, they’re so similar in look and are super comfy! Would definitely recommend!”
Another person wrote: “Amazing quality – it’s like walking on the clouds! So soft, super comfy, aesthetically pleasing. Such a fantastic product.”

A third said: “Great dupe, I’m a size 4 and got a small which were a little on the tighter side but medium would have been too big. Still they look great for fall outfits.”
Another penned: “These are the comfiest shoes I own!! They are so so soft on the inside and super comfortable. They are so on trend and for a fraction of the price. I sized up in mine as the fur lining does make them a little snug. They are good quality. Definitely worth the purchase.”
However, one customer was less satisfied with their purchase. They said: “I brought these as a dupe for another well-known brand and although these look lovely they are not practical. The bottoms are like a foam texture so wouldn’t be able to wear them outside and also have very little grip. They are on the smaller side and also a bit tight across the top of the foot but I’m guessing they might give after a few wears.”
Alternatively, Boohoo’s Ultra Mini Cosy Boots priced at £25 offer a similar aesthetic.
