Montfort Hospital’s IT network was briefly knocked offline Monday night, but an official said there’s no indication of a cybersecurity threat.
Martin Sauvé, the hospital’s director of communications, said a network outage meant the hospital’s phone and internet lines were knocked offline for about two hours late Monday night.

Staff reverted to backup processes, he said, including documenting medical records on paper.
“There are no indications of cybersecurity threats related to this situation,” he said via an emailed statement.
“We wish to thank everyone, from staff to patients and loved ones, who demonstrated patience and understanding throughout this situation.”
