Bows are back in time for Christmas, and we’re not talking just about present wrapping. If you’ve been keeping up to date with all things fashion over the past few weeks, you’ve probably seen H&M’s bow back party dress has gone viral with adoring shoppers hailing it the ‘Holiday dress of the season.’

The sequinned tie-back mini dress, which is covered in white sequins and adorned with a big black bow is a gorgeous style for party season – and we can see why it’s been getting so much love.

Not only is it giving us total Chanel ‘Blair Waldorf’ vibes, but it looks way more expensive than its affordable price tag of £55.

Every now and then H&M pulls it out of the bag and designs something that looks super spenny. I don’t know about you but if I saw someone wearing this come Christmas I would definitely think it was designer. Let’s face it, satin can usually be unforgiving on lumps and bumps, but the clever ruching on this design is far more flattering.

Sequinned skirt

For the ultimate in after dark glamour opt for sheer fabrics and sequins.

If you’re looking for a party outfit with sex appeal, this sheer skirt sure has some. Scattered with shimmering sequins this calf-length skirt does come with a short jersey underneath to conceal your modesty but if you are feeling more daring you could wear with high-waisted briefs. Team with an oversized blazer for an extra luxe touch.

If you’re looking for a Christmas classic try a pop of red.

Does anything shout Christmas more than a LRD (little red dress)? Erm we think not. With its girlie bow detailing on the shoulder, you’ll look as pretty as a present in this design. We’ll be teaming it with a red lip and dazzling drop earrings for that extra wow factor.

If it’s a little sequinned number you are looking for, we think you’ll love this one- the shift shape is very similar to the viral bow dress everyone has been trying to get their hands on. Our diaries are quickly filling up with festive cocktail dates and parties so we were delighted when we found this gem in H&M’s new arrivals section.
