The driver of a vehicle upside down in a field Sunday evening had to be extricated by Ottawa firefighters.
Ottawa Fire Services said in a news release it received an auto-generated call about a collision at Lockhead Road West and Fourth Line Road.

After arriving at the scene, crews cut a fence to reach the vehicle before beginning work to free the trapped driver.
An Ottawa Paramedic Service spokesperson said Sunday night that one adult male in stable condition was transported to a trauma centre for precautionary reasons.
