Ottawa police robbery detectives are seek public assistance in identifying a suspect in a robbery Dec. 7.
Police said the incident occurred at about 4:45 p.m. at a business in the 700 block of Eagleson Road in Kanata.

The suspect stole a quantity of merchandise and “assaulted” a store employee who attempted to apprehend him.
The suspect is described as Caucasian in his 30s, five feet eight inches (173cm) tall with a stocky build and a dark beard.
He wore a tan-coloured parka, a dark tuque, and dark clothing.
Anyone with information as to the identity of the suspect or information about this incident, is asked to contact the Ottawa police robbery unit at 613-236-1222, ext. 5116.
