As winter nears its end, many of us are starting to plan our wardrobes for the upcoming spring-to-winter transition, including jackets.
High-street favourite River Island has released a pink boucle jacket, £70 here, that’s giving us major Chanel vibes as it looks super-similar to one sold by the French fashion house.
River Island’s version has a similar appearance with its shiny buttons and decorative pockets. The £70 Pink Boucle Crop Trophy Jacket comes in a cropped fit, so it’s ideal for pairing with jeans or trousers, plus there are two other spring-ready colours to choose from.
Earlier this month, the retailer shared a video of its fashion lead, Nat, wearing the Trophy jacket. She can be seen styling the item with a pair of white relaxed-fit jeans and pointed shoes for the perfect daytime look.

Chanel’s famous tweed jackets cost well over £6,000 online, so opting for the £70 high-street offering instead could save you a pretty penny.

The cheaper version is made from a gorgeous boucle fabric and features gold-tone buttons down the front. Offered in a cropped length, it’s a great alternative to the Chanel blazer without the eye-watering price tag. We love it!
