Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, opened up about her single life in a rare relationship admission during a radio appearance. Sarah, who also goes by the name of Fergie, was married to Prince Andrew from 1986 until their divorce in 1996, and together they have two daughters, Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice.
During a candid chat with Rylan Clark on his BBC Radio show back in 2023, Sarah joked about being each other’s wing-men as they discussed her single status. The Duchess also talked about her book, A Most Intriguing Lady, during her appearance on the programme.
She also shared how she had been looking after the late Queen’s beloved dogs and told Rylan: “They are over their grief.” Rylan then brought up the topic of Sarah’s single life and said: “This is another thing we need to chat about.”

“We both are both what Beyonce calls Single Ladies. So when are we going out on the pull?” he asked. Sarah responded with a laugh, joking: “I’ll lend you my pink coat.”
She continued: “Rylan, what I like about this is imagine two single ladies walking in, right?”
“And they’ll [the men] come over to me and think, ‘Oh, that’s safe’ and then they’ll come over because they long to meet you and they get me.”
“Between the two of us, we could probably take on the world,” Rylan added. “Yeah,” Sarah agreed, as Rylan suggested: “So, let’s sort this out. We could each be each other’s wingman, right?

“We go to a bar or a restaurant, right? We are arm in arm and we sit down and we see a couple of guys.
“And the one that goes for you I’ll talk to the other one.”
“That’s right,” she replied. “But we need to get the age group right so maybe father and son.” She asked: “What about Liam Neeson, is he single?”
“I don’t know if he is actually,” Rylan said. “He might be. You like a bit of Liam Neeson? I can put in a call.”
The Duchess was looking after the late Queen Elizabeth’s beloved corgis
Rylan also wanted to know about looking after the late Queen’s corgis. “How are they? Because I mean, I’ve known some famous dogs in my time but I mean them dogs, come on.”
The Duchess replied: “They are so sweet. I think they’ve been trained by her to be so gentle.
“When you take a little digestive biscuit and break it like she used to with her little hands, she must have put a biccie in front of them and they’d gently take it.
“They’re really happy, and their tails are going up now so I think they’re over their grief.”
