The State Bank of India (SBI) has postponed the announcement of results for its ongoing recruitment positions, such as the SBI Clerk Mains exam, citing directives from the Ministry of Finance related to the 18th Lok Sabha elections.

The State Bank of India has postponed the release of the SBI Clerk Mains Exam 2024 results due to the Lok Sabha Elections. The announcement of the SBI Clerk Mains results is anticipated to occur in June, although the exact date and time haven’t been confirmed by the SBI yet. Candidates are encouraged to regularly monitor the official SBI website for any new updates regarding the results. The SBI Clerk mains exam, which took place on February 25 and March 4, saw participation from over 80,000 candidates who had qualified for the preliminary test.
The examination authority has made this decision following directives from the Ministry of Finance, considering the 18th Lok Sabha elections. The release of the results is anticipated to occur after the conclusion of the election process.
“To Whomsoever It May Concern, All Candidates are advised that declaration of the results of all ongoing recruitments/engagements held earlier in F.Y 2023-24 are deferred as per directions of Ministry of Finance, Department of Financial Services and shall be published once notification of completion of entire 18th Lok Sabha election process is released by Election Commission of India,” read the official notice.
HOW TO CHECK SBI CLERK MAINS RESULT 2024
Follow these steps to access your SBI Clerk Mains 2024 result:
1. Go to the official website of SBI at sbi.co.in.
2. Click on the ‘Careers’ tab on the homepage.
3. Look for the link labelled ‘SBI Clerk Mains Result Notice’ and click on it.
4. Enter your application number and date of birth as prompted.
5. Your SBI Clerk Mains 2024 result will appear on the screen. Check it thoroughly.
6. Download the result and print it out for your records.
SBI conducted the mains exam in multiple shifts. The first shift took place from 9:00 am to 11:40 am, while the second shift was scheduled from 2:30 pm to 5:10 pm. The SBI Clerk Mains 2024 exam comprised a total of 190 questions, with a combined weightage of 200 marks. Each question, except those in the Reasoning Ability and Computer Knowledge section, carried 1 mark.
However, the Reasoning Ability and Computer Knowledge section contained 50 questions with a total marking scheme of 60 marks. In all other subjects, candidates received 1 mark for every correct answer.
