Ontario Provincial Police were still looking for two individuals Monday after three people broke through the ice while fishing on Charleston Lake just before 5 p.m. Sunday.

The Leeds County detachment is investigating while the search continues for the two people.

Anyone with information about the missing people was asked to contact the OPP non-emergency line at 1 (888) 310-1122.

Police also urged the public to stay off the ice. “No ice is safe ice, especially during this extraordinarily mild winter,” the release read.
