As we slowly work our way through January, we’re always on the lookout for something to get excited about, and with Valentine’s Day just over a month away (yes, already), the romantic-themed holiday is exactly the positive vibe we’re looking for.
Although we’re fully here for a head-to-toe Valentine’s-themed red outfit (red is one of the season’s trending colours, after all), if you’re looking for a more subtle way to get into the romantic spirit, Strictly Come Dancing winner Ellie Leach just gave us the perfect bit of inspo.
The former Coronation Street star shared a snap of herself on Instagram earlier this week looking incredibly chic in an all-black ensemble with a slicked back ponytail and bold red lip, but it was her tights that got fans talking.

Rather than sticking to a simple pair of plain black tights, the actress instead opted for a pair of sheer black hosiery that featured an opaque black heart print all across them. The tights are the perfect way to give an understated nod to the upcoming romantic holiday and add a romantic touch to even the most basic of outfits, as you can wear them with everything from heels and a mini dress for date night, or with an oversized jumper dress and chunky boots for a daytime-appropriate ensemble.
