An 18-year-old is dead after a single-vehicle collision early Sunday on Rideau Ferry Road near Bay Road, the Ontario Provincial Police said in a social media post.
The stretch of road is located between Lombardy and Rideau Ferry, southwest of Smiths Falls.

Police described the teenager as a “local resident” but did not name them.
Any witnesses to the crash were asked to call the Rideau Lakes OPP.
