This has been a terrific year for music lovers, and if you think it couldn’t get any better, after watching artists like Imagine Dragons, Backstreet Boys, Mayhem, and Rema in the subcontinent this year, wait till you find out what’s in the store for the upcoming months. It doesn’t matter what genres define your musical taste, be it hip-hop or rock or roots or fusion, these music festivals have got everything covered. Here’s a quick rundown of the most exciting gig for every music aficionado out there.

Bollywood Music Project (BMP)

Major Artists: Badshah, Nucleya, Benny Dayal

Bollywood Music Project returns for its sixth edition next month on 3rd and 4th November, set to be staged at Jio World Garden in Mumbai. The lineup features renowned artists from a diverse musical spectrum, from the groovy rap verses of Badshah to the high-octane EDM set from Nucleya. Benny Dayal, Nakash Aziz, Anit Tiwary, and Richa Sharma are some other prominent names on the bill. The festival has only got bigger every year.

Echoes of Earth 2023

When: December 2 & 3 in Bengaluru

Major Artists: Tinariwen, Sid Sriram, Yung Raja

A music and cultural fest with conscience, Echoes of Earth continues to put sustainability at its core, and through music and arts, it aims to create awareness about our responsibility towards the environment. More than 40 artists from India and across the world will grace the upcoming edition of the festival. Some of the prominent artists include Indo-American Carnatic musician Sid Sriram, desert blues pioneer Tinariwen, French multi-instrumentalist Mezerg, Singaporean hip-hop sensation Yung Raja, and many more. This year’s theme is ‘Ensemble of the Wild,’ an ode to the biological diversity of Western Ghats.

Royal Enfield Motoverse

When: November 24 to 26 in Vagator, Goa

Major Artists: Seedhe Maut, Taba Chake, Benny Dayal

The most diverse festival celebrating the camaraderie of motorcycles through art, culture, and music will be taking place next month, in Goa. One of the five segments of the festival is MotoSonic, a music concert featuring some big and not-so-big names from the country. This year at MotoSonic, artists like Seedhe Maut, Taba Chake, and Benny Dayal will be performing.

Bacardi NH7 Weekender

When: December 1 to 3, Pune

Major Artists: M.I.A, Ezra Collective, Priya Ragu

The happiest music festival is back for another rendition, this time to be staged at the backdrop of 25-acre verdant Teerth Fields. Featuring over 40 artists catering to varied tastes and ages, the fest will span for two days, with a new theme #ItsAMood. M.I.A, the British rapper, is the biggest crowd-puller. While the line-up surely looks weaker than some of the last editions, the fest surely going to be a great experience with so many fun things to do, like gorging on culinary delights, taking a ride on the Ferris wheel, or just basking under Pune sun with a mug of beer.

Bangalore Open Air Warm-Up Party

For the fans of everything extreme, Bangalore Open Air Warm-Up Party will be bringing Crypotopsy, a Canadian death metal juggernaut that released their new album As Gomorrah Burns earlier this year.
