The Traitors Season 2 Features an All-Star Reality TV Cast

Besides a few major hits like Poker Face, Peacock hasn’t made a major splash in the streaming platform competition space. Up against the likes of Max, Netflix, and Hulu, the NBCUniversal subscription service still has room to grow in terms of original content in addition to its impressive back catalogue. The Traitors is one of their newest and most exciting bets yet.

Based on a 2021 Dutch reality competition show (a UK version also premiered in 2022), the US version of The Traitors first premiered in January 2023. Hosted by Alan Cummings, Season 1 featured 20 contestants, including stars of reality television. Within the cast, three players are deemed Traitors, who vote to eliminate the Faithfuls, which consists of the rest of the cast. While the Traitors work to take out contestants, the Faithfuls work together to unmask the traitors. The prize for all of this? $250,000. After its premiere, the series quickly got the green light for Season 2 in February 2023.

While Season 1 featured both celebrities and regular people, Season 2 is making a major change. Rather than having a mix in the type of cast, the next season is casting all reality television veterans, celebrities, and athletes. They’ll likely have a bit more skill on how to strategically fool other cast members versus a regular person.

Although the show’s cast was just announced, there’s still a long ways away from the show’s Season 2 premiere. Whether you’re watching for the first time, or just interested in the show now, here’s what you should know about The Traitors Season 2.

How to watch The Traitors Season 2

You can only watch The Traitors on Peacock, which requires a subscription.
