With warmer weather hopefully on the horizon, it’s time to ditch those ultra-warm, snuggly pyjamas in favour of something a little lighter, and Marks and Spencer has just the thing. The high street fave just dropped its Cool Comfort Cotton Modal Shortie Set, £25 here, and they’re just what your spring sleepwear needs.
The navy blue shorts and shirt set is great for helping stay cool whilst looking cute at bedtime, and are a great alternative for anyone who’s been coveting Eberjey’s luxurious Gisele TENCEL™ Modal Relaxed Short PJ Set, £145 here, but hasn’t had the budget to splurge on the super-soft co-ord.

Apart from having a similar look to the super luxe PJ set, Marks and Spencer’s version is the perfect pick if you want to stay comfy and cool when the temperatures rise. It’s made from a 50%/50% blend of cotton and modal which means it’s both lightweight and breathable, helping wick away sweat and keep you cool even in the peak of summer.
The two-piece set comes with a short sleeve, oversized shirt and loose fitting shorts with an elasticated waistband that makes them super comfortable to sleep in. The shirt has a button through fastening and a collared neckline, whilst the shorts have a tie waistband to help get the right fit without feeling too restricted.

You can nab the PJ set in either navy blue or a very spring-worthy pale yellow, with both colours having white piping along the edges which gives them a luxe look. They come in sizes extra small, which fits a 4-6, through to extra large which is designed for sizes 24-26.
Although the pyjamas are brand new on the M&S website, they’ve already acquired one glowing five star review. The shopper marked them as being slightly big fitting, and said: “Lovely, comfy and attractive navy blue short pyjama set.”

If you’re looking for something a little bit special to add to your sleepwear sets, M&S also has launched its Personalised Women’s Check Shortie Set, £32.50 here, which comes in a pretty pastel check pattern and can be embroidered with any lettering of your choice. With up to 13 letter spaces, you can choose to put your full name, or opt for a classic monogram with your initials.
If you (or the weather) aren’t quite ready for a full shortie PJ set, you can get the Chelsea Peers Modal Button Up Pyjama Set, £52 here, and the Curve version, £48 here, which swaps the short sleeved shirt for a long sleeve version, and trades in the shorts for a pair of full length trousers. The set still has the same lightweight modal fabric, as well as the navy colour and white piping, but helps keep you a little warmer while we wait for the weather to get the memo that it’s spring.
