Gatineau police have arrested a third teen in connection with an armed theft of a vehicle in Hull.
A man reported that a vehicle had been stolen at gunpoint by two men on Oct. 24, say police. The vehicle was soon spotted and police gave chase, but the pursuit was abandoned due to safety concerns.

On Oct. 27, the stolen vehicle was located in the area of Mutchmore Street, and police once again initiated a chase, which was also abandoned for safety reasons.

Police returned to the area of the initial report and spotted the two suspects and the stolen vehicle. A firearm was found inside the vehicle, say police.
Two male teens, 15 and 18, face charges of dangerous driving, fleeing and receiving stolen property. The 18-year-old also faces firearm charges.
Around 4 p.m. on Thursday, a third teen, 17, was arrested in Aylmer. Charges of robbery, theft of a motor vehicle and theft have been submitted to the Director of Criminal and Penal Prosecutions, say Gatineau Police.
