A popular Hintonburg coffee shop abruptly closed its doors on Friday.

In a social media post, the Ministry of Coffee wrote its Wellington Street location is “closed until further notice.”

A sign on the coffee shop’s door said the closure was due to “unforeseen plumbing issues.”

“Please follow us on social media for updates,” the sign read on Saturday morning.

A request for comment from the Ministry of Coffee was not immediately returned.
