Hey Ottawa!
Get back on the ice of the Rideau Canal Skateway, at least part of it.

The National Capital Commission announced Saturday evening that the 1.9-kilometre stretch of ice between Pretoria Bridge and Bank Street would reopen to skaters as of 12 noon on Sunday.
Crews flooded that stretch of the skateway on Friday and Saturday, hoping to prepare the ice for the final days of Winterlude.
Getting the skateway into operation would be a welcome event on the last weekend of the annual festival, which so far hasn’t seen it open at all through Winterlude’s first two weekends.
The skateway had a brief four-day operation in January, but officials were soon forced to shut it down due to mild weather and freezing rain.
The skateway did not open at all last winter, marking the first time one of Ottawa’s premier winter attractions had gone unused through an entire season since it was first opened more than a half-century ago.
