Abuja (Sundiata Post) – The Chief Executive Officer (CEO), BlackStone Capital Limited, Dr. Lizzie Kings-Wali , has congratulated the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio on his emergence as the President of the 10th Senate.
Kings-Wali also congratulated the Speaker, House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas, adding that their emergence is a testament of their commitment to the service of the nation.
Speaking in a statement sent to our correspondent the financial guru charged them to focus on the economy, youth empowerment, education, insecurity, health and agriculture.
She said she has no doubt the country will witness a greater dimension of economic growth and development in their quest to move Nigeria to the next level.
“It is my firm prayer that God will continue to lead and direct the Senate President and his counterpart aright for the benefit of all Nigerians”, she said.
Shee appealed to them to always support laws that will aid financial institutions, especially Small Medium Enterprise (SMEs).
She said capitalists drive every robust economy world over and assisting SMEs is a sure way of boosting the country’s gross domestic product (GDP).
“I humbly use this privilege to plead with the National Assembly to give assent to any bill that will boost SMEs and enhance financial empowerment to Nigerian businessmen as it will help to pilot the country’s economic boom towards regaining its place as giant of Africa.
“I must say that any positive financial bill passed will receive so much acceptance and will attract national and international applause, for it will be a testament of the desire for the moment by well-meaning Nigerians”, Kings-Wali said.
She also did not forget to congratulate
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu over his re-election as the Governor of Lagos State, as well as Governors of Niger State, Umar Bago, Akwa-ibom, Umo Eno and their Zamfara State counterpart, Dauda Lawal.
She also did not leave out the Emir of Borgu Kingdom in Niger State, His Royal Highness, Dr. Muhammed Sani Haliru. Dantoro Kittoro IV Maiborgu, on his conferment of national award as Commander Federal Republic (CFR) by the former Nigeria’s President, Muhammadu Buhari.
