Topmost APC guber aspirant Senator Oserheimen Osunbor has declared that he is the most competent in the long list of those gunning for Denis Osadebe House this year.
Osunbor made this declaration while addressing APC supporters in Orhionwhon Local Government Area of Edo State on Thursday.

The front-line aspirant of the APC , along with his beautiful wife Lady Ussieh and campaign entourage, launched a campaign tour to Abudu, the administrative headquarters of Orhionmwon Local Government Area on Thursday, January 11, 2024.
He received a warm welcome at the APC Party Secretariat from leaders, youths, and party members with joy and enthusiasm.
During his address, Prof. Osunbor presented verifiable records of his 18-month governorship, highlighting achievements such as providing loans to workers, increased workers salaries twice, bursaries to students, and infrastructural development in Orhionmwon.
He gave notable reasons why he is the most qualified for the position, stating, “I have a first-class degree in Law and was the best at graduating school in law school during my time. I am not here to tell you what I will do but to provide verifiable records of my past accomplishments and my commitment to improvement.
” I am the only governor who gave loans to workers and bursaries to students, and I did roads in Orhionmwon.”
He also spoke on the various sacrifices he has made for the party since joining in 2014.
The Leader of the Party in Orhionmwon Local Government Area, Rt. Hon. Patrick Aisowieren, shared enthusiasm, stating, “It is not for us in Orhionmwon alone; you know that we will do our best.”
He emphasized the need for Osunbor to cultivate connections beyond Orhionmwon, asserting, “If given the ticket, we can go and sleep with our eyes closed. That is the truth because I know what people are saying outside.
“If you enter public vehicles, I know what they are saying.”
Mr. Julius Agbonzee, the APC chairman, Orhionmwon LGA, echoed support, affirming that Prof. Osunbor will get there, citing Osunbor’s impactful 18-month tenure as Edo State governor. The chairman foresaw greater accomplishments with the ticket: “If given the ticket, you will do more.”
Highlighting Osunbor’s unifying leadership, the chairman dispelled notions of sectionalism: “We Orhionmwon, we are solidly behind you. You have proven not to be a sectional governor or leader. We will support and give our vote to Prof. Oserhiemen Osunbor to be the governor, and you will be the candidate of APC by the special Grace of God.”
In conclusion, kola nuts and hot drinks were broken to pray for Sen. Prof. Oserhiemen Osunbor by the most elderly leader of the Party in Orhionmwon Local Government. The meeting was well attended by party leaders, chairmen, women leaders, ward chairmen, youth leaders, and others. The visit marked a pivotal moment, securing fervent endorsement from the heart of Orhionmwon APC in his bid for the governorship.
