Uzo Aduba, a Nigerian-American actress, is now a mother.
The 42-year-old “Orange Is the New Black” actress and her husband, Robert Sweeting, have welcomed a baby girl.
The actress announced the birth of their daughter, Adaiba Lee Nonyem, on Instagram on Thursday, November 30.

“This is my daughter.” “I’ve never been so quickly and deeply in love in my entire life,” she wrote. “I’m not sure what to say, gentlemen. My heart is overflowing. God, thank you.”

The actress added, “I’m a Mommy, you guys. Motherhood. I’ve joined the club. I hear the dues are high, but the membership is completely worth it 🙂 #grateful.”
