A 36-year-old Amherstburg man faces numerous charges, including impaired driving, following a hit-and-run collision in Windsor.
Windsor police responded shortly after 9 p.m. Tuesday evening to the 2900 block of Grandview Street, where officers found a parked, red sport utility vehicle with significant front-end damage.
While investigating, the officers were told a white Honda HRV had struck the parked vehicle before leaving the scene.

Officers located the Honda in a rear parking lot in the 5400 block of Tecumseh Road East.
Officers spoke with the vehicle’s driver and said they detected a strong odour of alcohol on his breath.
The man was transported to police headquarters where he allegedly failed a breath test.
The Amherstburg man was charged with impaired driving, failure to stop at a collision, driving without a licence and careless driving.
This latest arrest follows an incident that occurred Saturday morning in the 1400 block of Parent Avenue.
Shortly after 1 a.m., officers responding to a separate incident were approached by another vehicle. It collided with their parked cruiser.
Police say the vehicle then struck a second parked are before coming to a stop.
A 31-year-old woman was arrested and transported to police headquarters where she allegedly failed a breath test.
She faces charges of impaired driving and driving with a blood alcohol concentration exceeding the legal limit.
