Governor Hyacinth Alia and Hope Uzodimma
Governor Hyacinth Alia of Benue has congratulated his Imo counterpart, Hope Uzodimma, on his victory in Saturday’s governorship election.
The congratulatory message was conveyed in a statement by his spokesman, Tersoo Kula.
Mr Alia described the Imo governor’s landslide victory as a true reflection of his acceptability by the Imo people.
The Benue governor said the election’s outcome was heartwarming, adding that the margin of victory indicated the people’s trust and love in the policies and programmes of the Uzodimma-led APC government.
Mr Alia assured the governor of his unalloyed support and a robust working relationship for the progress of their respective states and Nigeria.
He prayed for Mr Uzodimma’s good health and long political life.
Mr Alia urged him to use the victory as a platform to continue to offer purposeful leadership to Imo.
