A 32-year-old man of no fixed address has been arrested and charged with robbery, theft and assault police after he returned to the scene of a hotel robbery at Kilburn to return the stolen money.
Just after 8pm on Saturday, September 16, a man entered the hotel on Prospect Road and demanded cash after threatening staff.
The man stole cash and alcohol before walking off, but returned a short time later and returned the money to staff before leaving again.
No-one was physically injured.
Police patrols searched the area with police dog Bandit and located the suspect nearby on Stone Street.
He was refused bail to appear in the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court on Monday.
Meanwhile, a further two people were arrested at Fulham Gardens on Sunday morning after allegedly breaking into a chemist.
Police responded to intruder alarms at a Tapleys Hill Road, Fulham Gardens pharmacy just before 4.30am on September 17. The premises appeared empty but the door to the medication room was ajar.
A man was spotted running from the scene down Valetta Road.
The patrol found a person hiding behind a bus shelter, allegedly in possession of medication and a walkie-talkie.
Another man who it will be alleged was acting as a lookout, was found nearby with a matching walkie-talkie.
Both men were arrested and charged with aggravated serious criminal trespass and theft. They were both refused police bail and will appear in the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court on Monday.
