The third Autograph Collection hotel in Madrid will open its doors in the last quarter of 2024.
Located behind the Congress of Deputies, Calle Zorrilla, 19, the property, owned by Millenium, will operate under the exclusive Marriott brand. This is the second Marriott hotel that SOCIMI is bringing to the city centre, following the opening of the JW Marriott in 2023.
The future establishment, located in a building with classic architecture from the late 19th century, will have a 5-star category, 50 rooms, a cafeteria, a gym, a meeting room, a pool area, a spa area and a restaurant that will operate under the Scarpetta brand, with a “modern Italian” concept with a capacity of 120 people and which will include Willy’s, a New York “speakeasy” with cocktails and live music.
The new Autograph Collection by Marriott hotel is Millenium’s fourth asset in this area of Madrid, which already boasts three other luxury hotels: the JW Marriott hotel, the Nobu Madrid hotel, which is still under development, and the Las Letras Gran Vía hotel, which the company recently announced would be operated by Nômade, the company’s first in Spain.
SOCIMI has already added 11 brands to its luxury portfolio for the 13 assets it owns in Spain, with only the future hotels of El Palmar (Cadiz) and Cordoba still awaiting the closing of signatures.
