RTÉ presenter Brendan Courtney has admitted finding it tough since his mother’s Alzheimer’s diagnosis, describing it as “a very cruel disease”.
However, the designer turned TV and radio host added that “you just have to get through it and keep the humour”, and he’s grateful “she’s not in pain”.
