Carrie Underwood’s 400-acre Tennessee house catches fire with entire family inside

Carrie Underwood and her family were inside their Tennessee home when it caught fire on Sunday night.

Williamson County Fire and Rescue confirmed on Facebook that they arrived at the scene to find a “fully-involved fire” in Underwood’s garage at around 9:40 pm.

The fire crew put out the flames at the home by using a 10,000 gallon water tank, according to local news station WKRN News 2.

Firefighters reportedly remained on the scene for several hours since the fire got into the walls and kept flaring back up in hot spots.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation, Williamson County Fire and Rescue said.

Underwood, 41, her husband Mike Fisher, their sons Isaiah, 9, and Jacob, 5, and their pets were home during the fire.

The singer’s rep confirmed that no one was injured in the incident.

“There was a fire on the property on Sunday night, which was quickly contained,” the rep said in a statement to PEOPLE. “There was no fire damage to the primary residence, and the family and their pets were unharmed.”

The fire at Underwood’s home occurred on Father’s Day, but it’s unclear if it impacted their plans.

The “Blown Away” singer has been married to the former NHL player since 2010. Their sons were born in 2015 and 2019.

While Underwood is extremely busy in her career, she’s always made it a point to prioritize Fisher and their two children.

“Our lives are so crazy as it is. But you just make room and you learn how important that family time is, and to be able to spend time and carve out some of that and maybe get to go on vacation and maybe get to go on a cruise — that stuff is so important to, like I said, make time for family. That’s what it’s all about,” she told PEOPLE several years ago.

In 2020, Underwood talked about her experience spending time with her family during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“I’ve never been in one place for this long in the past 15-plus years of my career,” she said on Today at the time. “So it’s been really great to just really get to know them and watch them grow — especially Jake. It’s such a critical time in his life and I’m never gonna get it back. So we’re just trying to enjoy it.”
