MANILA, Philippines: PLDT and Smart said cyber attacks against them spiked nearly 9,000 percent to 16 billion in 2023 from 182 million in 2022.
In a statement, the PLDT Group urged the government to oversee the country’s cybersecurity master plan against rising threats and attacks to secure critical assets.
